Obituary for Clara "Lorie" Loretta Cramer

Clara “Lorie” Loretta Cramer of Grand Ledge,

Passed away May 30, 2021 at the age of 90. Lorie was born in Burnwell, West Virginia on September 13, 1930, the daughter of Zettie Hudson. Clara worked in publicity fund raising for symphonies and orchestras through the Lansing Opera Company, Lansing Symphony and Lansing Matinee Musical. She attended St. Gerard Catholic Church. Lorie had religious and mystical experiences her entire life. She wrote and published a book about them. 'The Eighth Story Mountain of Blood and Tears' 2009.

Lorie is preceded in death by her parents; 3 children: Jack, Ken, and infant Linda. She is survived by her husband Daniel; daughters Michelle (Saul) Labovitz and Cathy (Richard) Schultz; 3 grandsons and 3 half-sisters.

Services to be held at a later date. Lori will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W.
