Obituary for Harriet M. McCloud

Harriet Mae McCloud of Grand Ledge,

Passed away January 4, 2019 at the age of 91. Harriet was born in Madison, Wisconsin on May 10, 1927, the daughter of Fred and Jessie (Kellogg) Johnson. She married the love of her life, Henry, on November 25, 1949. Harriet was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling, bird watching and antiquing with her husband. Together Henry and Harriet took a lot of pride in their flower garden.

Harriet is survived by her three sons, Scott (Donna), Todd (Joan), and Jeff (Robin); grandchildren, Nathan McCloud, Jessie (Sean) Madden, Emily (Patrick) Mohney; great grandchildren, Amelie, Piper, Finn, Henry, Ferris and one on the way, Hudson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and brother, Herbert Johnson.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00AM at Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge with Pastor Clive Ellis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Memorial Fund or Alzheimer’s Association Capital Area Region.
