Obituary for Herbert E. Klingbiel

Herbert E. Klingbiel, 93, longtime Grand Ledge, MI, resident passed away December 26, 2020 rejoining his wife Phyllis on their 71st wedding anniversary. He was born December 25, 1927 in Grand Ledge, son to Herbert and Marian (Earl) Klingbiel. He was preceded in death in 2018 by wife, Phyllis (Sandborn) and grandson Graeme Rozich Klingbiel. Herbert was a pharmacist at the Grand Pharmacy and served in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed golf, fishing, especially at Baker Lake, woodworking, and was very devoted to his family.
Herbert will be greatly missed by his children: Herbert Jeffrey (Arlene) Klingbiel, Lynn (Rich) Corrigan and David H. (Lisa) Klingbiel; adored grandchildren: Jeffrey (Allison) Peake, Jeremy (Kristina) Peake, Dr. Amy (Corrigan) Milman (Greg), Jeffrey (Jamie) Klingbiel, Ted (Jennifer) Keusch, Jack (Melissa) and Steven Klingbiel; greatgrandchildren: Grayson and Adelyn Peake, Megan and Emma Peake, Ryan and June Sue Klingbiel.
Out of respect and concern for public health and safety and COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) ( ) or United Cerebral Palsy Foundation ( ).
