Obituary for Jack Duane Hacker

Jack Hacker, 86, of Trufant, MI, born December 9, 1933 in Lansing, MI, passed away June 30, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict; was a retired photo finisher for Qualex Inc., and a founding member of Beginning in Grace Church, Grand Ledge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, travel, and his retirement years spent at Rainbow Lake.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Arvilla, daughter Devery (Terry) Beals, sons: John, Jeffrey, and Steve; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Leona (May) Horner, brothers Robert and Tom Horner, sister Kay Momany, and 2 daughters-in-law, Kathy and Leslie.
A Military Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at North Eagle Cemetery, 12300 S. Grange Road, Eagle, MI 48822, with Pastor Bob Beckett officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beginning in Grace Church, 200 E. River St., Grand Ledge, MI 48837. The family has entrusted arrangements to Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
