Obituary for Kylie Jo Huntington

Kylie Jo Huntington passed away on Jan.10, 2021 at the age of 52, born September 12, 1968 in Lansing, Michigan, daughter to Charles Huntington II and Sharon Rittenburg. She was survived by her brother, Aaron Huntington; stepfather, Bill Mize; aunt, Cindy Stampski; grandfather, Charles Bruce Huntington I, and lifelong friend and “Big Sister”, Clare Luz. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Charlie Huntington III; and maternal grandparents, Gerald "Chuck" and Donna Rittenburg.

Kylie had a “big heart”. She was consistently kind and generous to everyone she knew. She also had a keen intellect and sense of humor, and an unwavering positive outlook and appreciation for life. Her strong determination to overcome her many challenges and courageously live life with integrity and purpose was inspirational. Kylie loved helping others, reading, craftwork, journaling, writing, music, and visiting with friends. She made the world more beautiful. Her loving spirit will be missed but will live on in our memories.

The family wishes to thank friends and staff at Edgewood Village for all the years of support and friendship they provided. A special thanks to the MacDowell family, Kylie’s “second” family, for their support over the years.

A celebration of Kylie’s life will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted arrangements to Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
