Leah attended Sexton High School in Lansing, and graduated from cosmetology school and was a hairdresser for many years owning a business with her daughter, Terri, until her retirement in 1989. She loved to garden, can tomatoes, and do projects around the house. She was known for picking up a saw, hammer and nails and building her own creations. She was a gifted artist, doing many wonderful paintings. She also enjoyed camping, and going to Florida for winters. She was a huge dog lover, having many dogs over the years, loving her last two cocker spaniels, Pumpkin and Gidget. She was fun, with a quick sense of humor, always the bright spark and life of the party. We will always remember her amazing cooking, and baking skills, and a happy hour with a V8, gold fish crackers and peanuts. She loved her family, and spending time with all her many friends, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, especially at Halloween and Christmas.
