Obituary for Marilyn E. Nichols

Marilyn E. Nichols, 80, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2016. She was born June 2, 1936 in Lawton, MI, daughter to Marion and Bertha (Owen) Kimble. Marilyn was retired from the State of Michigan, Social Security Administration; member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; past president of Delta Township Lioness Club; former member of ABWA, and volunteer of Commission on Aging. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed spending time with her family. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 23 years, Russell, daughter Valerie Burnham and sister Janet (Harold) Bolden. She was predeceased by her first husband Edward Burnham, daughter Carrie Ann Burnham, son Steven Burnham, two brothers Lawrence and Nathan “Wayne” Kimble.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 – 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 111 N. Galyn St., Sturgis, MI 49091, with visitation one hour prior to service time. For those wishing, memorial donations may be given to University of Michigan Transplant Center, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
