He worked for Detroit Edison Co. for 35 years in Ann Arbor and Detroit and progressed from Substation Operator, to Relay Technician, to 20 years as an Electrical Systems Supervisor in Detroit and retired in 1990. The family loved to travel and enjoyed many camping trips and cruises. He was interested in photography since high school days. Bob loved all types of instrumental music, both playing and recording; spent many years storing violins, violas and cellos, also numerous antique wooden cased tube radios, having restored over 250 radios.
